Creating the perfect productive nighttime routine is very important. Making sure you get a good night's sleep and also being able to do some productive things will be helpful for your next day.

In this blog post, I will be sharing eight productive ideas you can add to your nighttime routine. This nighttime routine is chill, relaxing, healthy, and productive. Get things done before the beginning of the next day.

1.Preview your to-do list 

The first thing to do one your nighttime routine is to preview your to-do list. Check out all the boxes of tasks you completed fully and see if there are still some tasks remaining. 

Usually, I use Google notes to help me with this. You can get a printable to-do list here.

2. Have a brain dump

During your day's work you might come across different things that need to be done or simple tasks you are yet to complete. Get a sticky note and have a quick brain dump. 

Write down what is on your mind. It can be work-related or personal. This would help you relax as you don't need to feel pressured to remember anything.

3. Make your favorite drink

4. Make your dinner

5. Have a warm bath

After a long day at work or working, you deserve some form of pampering. Run a bath and soak up for about 30 minutes.  This would help your tight muscles loosen up and make you feel chill and relaxed afterward

6. Apply your nighttime skincare routine 

If you are the kind who uses skincare products, this would be the perfect time to add said products. 

While you at it, don't forget to brush your teeth and change into your comfiest sleepwear.

7. Relax on your couch and watch a movie 

Cuddle your blanket or a human and watch a movie you enjoy. You are using this to while away time and to also make you feel sleepy. 

8. Get a good night sleep

This is the last routine in your nighttime routine. Get a good night's sleep. Make sure you have your bed already made so you just come into your bedroom to fall asleep and not clear the place up. 

If you have a problem falling asleep you can try sleep stories. I noticed anytime I have insomnia I always end up sleeping properly if I watch a movie and end up falling asleep while doing it. You can give it a try or workout before taking a bath so you would be extremely tired and want to fall asleep.
